Regular analyses of the catamarans currently listed on the used market.

We monitor the listings on numerous portals and dealer websites every day and collect, for each model, what the specialist press, builders and owners report. In this section we evaluate that per model. Here you will find:

• The market: how many boats are listed, what they cost by year of build, how widely prices vary and how quickly a model loses value.
• The years of build: which model years had teething problems, which recalls and factory measures there were and where the sweet spot between price and maturity lies.
• The model: strengths and weaknesses from boat tests, builder documentation and owner experience reports – every statement with its source, owner statements marked as third-party reports.
• The suitability: who the model suits – at anchor, on passage, for bluewater and long-distance sailing.

Each article is a snapshot with a data date. We show evaluations across many boats, never individual listings. For a specific boat there is the pre-purchase review.
